Who doesn't love some pink polka dots?

I am SO tired of the winter weather, so I decided to liven it up, just a bit! I don't want to go decorationally overboard (the equivalent of wearing a white shoe before its due time) But, I figured I can push the envelope just a smidge with some bright pop colors infused with traditional damask print to amp up the party!

I found the most adorable oversized candy for  place settings. How cute would this be for a bridal luncheon? I know, too cute!! Not to worry my dieting bride, they are for looks only, no sweet temptation there! Add some clear glass candelabra decor paired with some heavily shimmered branches, belles of Ireland, and wa-la! A pink, flirty, polka-dotted party, for the girl who likes a little something different!

When Bad Accessories Happen To Good Brides...

One thing I loathe, possibly more than a  non-brushed out barrel curl circa 1980 is a badly accessorized bride. I know tiara's used to be all the rage (Thank GOD that passed)

Make room for some truly fabulous accessories for the modern bride that will have girls all around saying... "why didn't I think of that"....

It might also be my slight obsession with red hair that draws me to these pictures, but no matter the color, all brides can use a fabulous accessory for their tresses on their big day! Go to Shop Bando to see all the lovelies available!

Also... please someone buy these ADORABLE shoe clips for your heels!!!! Think of the fabulous pictures to come from this while also adding pops of color!!

 Lets all band together, and say : No more boring shoes, or bad accessories, as long as we both shall wed.

RSVP {Rare. Swirly. Victorian. Picnics}

I had the opportunity to collaborate with a lovely photographer, Natalie Barrett. I wanted to do a couple of different table scapes that were a little more casual for the girl who likes simple elegance like olive and eggplant... the colors, not the foods...

So! Nat and I found our way to White Rock Lake where I created what I like to call.... my Victorian Picnic. I think this would be beautiful for a fall wedding ... All table decor and linens available to rent from RSVP!

Enjoy!

It's A Nice Day... For A White Wedding...

I am so excited to show a sneak peek of the collaborative photo shoot we did on Friday with a wonderful photographer, Greg Blomberg and his assistant Laura Goodson Squire of  Greg Blomberg Photography.

Together, Bows & Arrows Floral, Heidi of the DELICIOUS SugarBeeSweets Bakery and I wanted to create a supremely luxe table scape.... how better to do that than having custom, crystal encrusted chargers and wine glasses atop rabbit skin place settings, layered with metallic placemats - LUSH floral arrangements dripping with crystals and of course... a BUNNY named Alfie?!? Not to mention a towering wedding cake adorned with crystals, fowing edible ribbon hand embossed all sitting on fluffy fur and a  ghost table making it seem like all is just floating!  ...

RSVP: {Racy. Social. VIP. Parties}

Without further ado, it’s Andy Austin’s 17th Annual Christmas Party! Anyone in the industry knows, this is the MUCH anticipated party of the year to see what Andy has up his sleeve! This year was no different. You can imagine my excitement when RSVP was chosen as the Event Designer!

Andy chose the Media Room at the Hilton Anatole so the theme (naturally) was “Media”. Andy was so great and let me think outside the box for the decor and was game for everything! In keeping with the media theme, I made 3 HUGE custom chandeliers completely out of fashion magazines! Many thank to my girls who tirelessly helped me hand cut all the fabulous images - you ROCK!

Scattered throughout the party were framed pictures of celebrities dripping with jewels,  while panels of televisions displayed all the current music videos! For the VIP dinner, I created custom hand decoupaged and glittered charger plates. We all know that jewelry plays a huge role in Hollywood media, so I wanted to create a very glam place setting before the party started!

Hope you enjoy the pictures as much as we enjoyed the party - thank you again Andy, it was a blast!!!!
